BIRTHFIT Regional Directors, Coaches, and Professionals are those within their respective fields that serve women throughout the Motherhood Transition. They employ the BIRTHFIT four pillars and act as leaders within their community.

Together, the BIRTHFIT Regional Directors, BIRTHFIT Coaches, and BIRTHFIT Professionals make up the BIRTHFIT tribe. The BIRTHFIT tribe demonstrates true belonging. This is defined, according to Brene Brown, as the spiritual practice of believing in and belonging to yourself so deeply that you can share your most authentic self with the world and find sacredness in both being a part of something and standing alone in the wilderness. True belonging requires you to be who you are, not change who you are.
As fellow humans with a mission to support and serve women and their families, we will encounter heavy emotions and highly polarizing topics; however, we will not blame, react, or diminish another’s light. We will offer our fellow humans respect and a space to be heard. We will support one another – whether we are in agreement or not – and seek to improve ourselves and each other through this ever-evolving community.

Our Regional Directors are the hands-on, in-person, got-your-back representatives of the Four Pillars of BIRTHFIT around the world.

Regional Directors are coaches, doulas, chiropractors, physical therapists, medical doctors, nutritional therapists, NLP practitioners, acupuncturists, women’s health practitioners, and most importantly- game changers. BIRTHFIT Regional Directors embody all that BIRTHFIT stands for and they stand ready to support you in your motherhood transition.

What BIRTHFIT Programs and Services do Regional Directors offer?

BIRTHFIT Regional Directors offer a wide variety of services for any stage of the Motherhood Transition. Different Regional Directors might offer different services based on their individual skill set and context. However, Regional Directors are the only people trained in the BIRTHFIT program, classes, and services. That means they are the only ones that can host BIRTHFIT events as they have undergone six months of online, hands-on, and mentor-mentee training.

A few examples of Regional Director offerings:

BIRTHFIT Prenatal Series
BIRTHFIT Postpartum Series
BIRTHFIT Postpartum Series – Breath and Flow

The application period for the 2019 Class of Regional Directors has passed.

This page includes the application information from the 2019 Application Process. We reserve the right to change the requirements for the 2020 Class of Regional Directors. Information regarding applying for the 2020 Class will be available in Summer 2019.

So, you want to become a Regional Director?

When you apply to become a Regional Director with BIRTHFIT, you are applying to represent the four pillars we hold so dear to our everyday lifestyles. You are applying to represent your community. You are applying to be the go-to resource for women in your community. You are expected to lead from the front and to set up a solid network around you.

If you are planning on applying for the 2020 year, please note that you must be a BIRTHFIT Coach or Professional and have completed at least an introductory level Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization course (including Exercise 1, Basic Course A, Weightlifting, Pediatrics, and/or Women’s Health) prior to submitting your application.

We will not consider any applications that are missing a BIRTHFIT Seminar or DNS experience.

You can apply as one person or as a partnership. Every person, whether you are with a partner or not, is responsible for submitting an application. If you make it to the interview round, then you will need to make yourself available for a video interview. If you are with a partner, then you both must be present for the video interview. After the interview round, we will either let you know why we are not inviting you or offer you a formal invitation to join our BIRTHFIT Regional Director Tribe. Every person, partners or a single, will be required to pay the yearly fee, complete the online training, and attend the annual BIRTHFIT Summit.

This is a huge responsibility and should not be taken lightly. Each BIRTHFIT Regional Director is its own small business, dependent on you. This can be a full-time or part-time career. It all depends on how much energy you invest. We understand that this is not for everyone, and everyone does not fit the mold. However, those that are selected are, and will be, an unstoppable force, full of information in their communities.
