BIRTHFIT WORKSHOP: SUNDAY, APRIL 3RD SAN DIEGO
BIRTHFIT WORKSHOP San Diego
San Diego Athletics
Sunday, April 3rd!
This workshop is for coaches, pregnant mamas, and more!
The BIRTHFIT Workshop covers what it truly means to be BIRTHFIT and why we place so much emphasis on the four pillars. We have done our research, and continue to do so, in pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period; and, we want to give you a simple, yet effective approach to rockin’ this rite of passage into motherhood. During this workshop we will discuss our training methods and some of our favorite movements. We will also discuss real food nutrition plus supplementation for pregnancy and postpartum. We touch on birth education and preparation along steps you can take now to start preparing for your birth. And we definitely do not leave without putting in some proper steps for postpartum planning. The workshop is FULL of information. If you are pregnant, new or a seasoned athlete, I would highly encourage you to attend this workshop.
BIRTHFIT: an educated, empowered state of readiness, specific to childbirth with evolved practices in fitness, nutrition, chiropractic, and mindset.
At BIRTHFIT, it’s our view that birth represents a rite of passage into motherhood. Any rite of passage is a series of events that progresses a person from one stage of the life to another. Birth is intended to be felt emotionally, physically, and mentally. The fact is that when you’re pregnant, your baby will come out regardless if you’re ready and willing, or not. Birth is not the challenge. It’s just the process, or rite of passage, that is standing between you and your new baby. The real challenge is how you will respond to these powerful emotions, physical changes, and mental obstacles that accompany the birth method.
It’s our position at BIRTHFIT that birth is the greatest athletic event we, as women, will ever experience. It is our Olympics, our World Cup, our Masters, U.S. Open, or Ironman race. Women train for months, and years at a time to compete at these levels. Women train to be in the best physical, mental, and emotional shape possible for a single moment of glory. Yet, we believe birth should be more rewarding than all those events combined. Why would you not train to be the best you can be to bring another life into this world?
Birth can be your MOMENT OF GLORY. This is your time to shine!
