  • I agree. High intensity workouts would not be the reason for failure to descend. I do believe that emotions and the ability to let go can either hinder or excel labor. I train and am a doula with many pregnant women who do CrossFit and their babies descend and they have no problem laboring. Grant you, I’m not saying it’s a walk in the park but they’re used to pushing themselves physically and mentally and that definitely helps in labor. It’s all about getting though one contraction/surge at a time. Get out there and get your sweat on ladies!
