BirthFIT Postpartum Series

 

The BirthFIT Postpartum Series is ideal for mothers that are two weeks* to six months postpartum. This class meets twice a week for four weeks in various locations throughout the country.

*Assuming no major labor and delivery complications or c-sections.

GOALS:

To begin/return to functional movements.

To heal physically, emotionally,  and mentally after giving birth.

To connect with other moms who have recently given birth.

To feel empowered and confident.

Austin, TX with Kat Grosshaupt

Cost: $149

October 2nd through October 30th, excluding October 16th

Tuesdays & Thursdays 9-10am at 5 Fitness Training

Wednesdays & Fridays 2-3pm at Triangle Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Center

Wednesday and Sunday at 7pm at Coulee Health

In each class you will receive homework as well as take home workouts, assistance from local resources, and email support from your coach. 5 sets of 20 Shoulder Taps in Plank

 

Prospect

3 Rounds:

20 Good Morning

20 Air Squats

 

5 x 5 Deadlifts

*Warm-up so that each set is a working set.

 

2 Rounds:

15 KB Swings

10 Air Squats

5 Burpee Snaps

 

All-Star

3 Rounds:

20 Good Morning

20 Glute Bridges

20 Air Squats

 

7 x 3 Deadlifts

*Working Sets.

*Increase weight a little each set.

 

3 Rounds:

15 KB Swings

10 Air Squats

5 Burpee Snaps

 

NOTES

  • As always, modifies those movements that do not feel comfortable. It is not worth it.
  • One-arm KB swings can be substituted for the regular swings.
