In Week 4 of our series we are looking at choosing a care provider. Many women don’t take this decision seriously enough! Today’s video will get you started, and on Wednesday look for a more detailed list of things to consider and questions to ask when choosing an OBGYN or Midwife. WORKOUT:
A. 3 Rounds:
10 Medball Slams
20 KB Swings
30 Medball Overhead Walking Lunges
B. Tabata run or row- full 8 rounds
NOTES AND MODIFICATIONS:
- Use a medball that is light weight- 6 or 8 lbs.
- The KB swings should be done in as few sets as possible. Choose the weight accordingly.
- Build in your rest so you can maintain a conversational pace.
- For Part B, you are doing the full 8 rounds of Tabata. You can run/jog/walk quickly/row. The goal is to get your heart rate up for 20 seconds, then use the 10 second rest to take deep breaths and recover. This is great practice for Labor!
